Prof. Yugang Niu

East China University of Science and Technology, China


Yugang Niu is a second-level professor and doctoral supervisor at East China University of Science and Technology. He serves as the Subject Editor for the Journal of Franklin Institute, and Associate Editor for NeurocomputingInformation SciencesIET Control Theory & Applications, and the IEEE Control Systems Society Conference Editorial Board, as well as an editorial board member for Control and Decision. He received the First Prize of Natural Science from the Chinese Association of Automation in 2018 (second contributor) and has won the Second Prize of Natural Science from Shanghai Municipality three times (in 2010, 2016, and 2023) as the first author. He has published three English monographs and one Chinese monograph. His graduate students have received one Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Chinese Association of Automation and six from Shanghai or its Automation Association. His recent research interests include networked control, sampled-data control, data-driven control, and covert attack design.

Yongming Li, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Vice President of Liaoning University of Technology, State Council Special Allowance Expert, Recipient of National Youth Science Foundation Classes A and B (National Outstanding Youth, National Excellent Youth), Leading Talent of Liaoning Xingliao Talent Program and Special Professor of Liaoning. He is currently the Deputy Director of the Parallel Control and Management Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation and a member of the Control Theory Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation. And also serving as the editorial board member for journals such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems and Acta Automatica Sinica. The research direction is the intelligent control theory and application. He has served as over the 20 national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Joint Key Project, National Key R&D Program Project and Liaoning and “Select the Best Candidates to Undertake Key Research Project” major research subject of Liaoning. He has published over 100 papers in IEEE Transactions and Automatica, one paper won the Outstanding Paper Award in IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems, and one paper won the Best Paper Award in IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, and authorized over 20 invention patents and software copyrights. He published 4 textbooks and monographs. His contributions have been recognized with the First Prize of Natural Science by the Ministry of Education, the second prize of Liaoning Province Natural Science, the first prizes of Science and Technology Progress, and Natural Science by the Chinese Association of Automation, the Young Scientist Award by the Chinese Association of Automation, and the Young Science and Technology Award from Liaoning Province.

Prof.Honggui Han

Honggui Han, professor, doctoral supervisor, and dean of the School of Computer Science. He has been engaged in research on intelligent control of complex systems, and has been selected for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, the National Science Fund for Excellent Young Scholars, the Young Beijing Scholar, the Young Scientist of the Chinese Automation Society, and the Outstanding Young Scientist of Beijing Universities, etc. As a result of the research, he has published more than 100 academic papers and written 5 books; he has obtained more than 60 authorized Chinese/American invention patents, has presided over/participated in the formulation of more than 10 national/group/local standards. He has won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize of the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Science and Technology Progress Award, etc. He is currently the director of the "Digital Community" Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education and the director of the Beijing Key Laboratory of "Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Systems". He also serves as an editorial board member of journals such as China Science: Technical Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, etc.

Fanbiao Li is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Central South University. He is a recipient of the National Excellent Young Scientist Fund, a leading talent of Hunan Province for science and technology innovation, and a Humboldt Fellow. His research focuses on intelligent control and applications for aerospace vehicles. He has published over 90 papers in leading journals and conferences and authored one English monograph. He has received the First Prize of Natural Science of Hunan Province, the First Prize of Natural Science of Heilongjiang Province, the First Prize of Natural Science of the Chinese Association of Automation, and the Youth Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Association of Automation. He serves as an editorial board member for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics: Systems, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica, and Acta Automatica Sinica. He is also a committee member of various professional committees of the Chinese Association of Automation, including the Committee on Computational Intelligence and Its Applications, the Control Theory Committee, and the Intelligent Control and Systems Committee of the Chinese Institute of Command and Control. He has led over 10 projects, including key joint projects of the National Natural Science Foundation and major special projects of the "New Generation Artificial Intelligence" program.

Prof. Zhenghua Wang

Harbin Institute of Technology, China


Zhenhua Wang received the B.Sc. degree in detection, guidance, and control from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing, China, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in control science and engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He is currently a professor with the Department of Control Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. His research interests focus on state estimation, fault diagnosis, emergency control for aerospace applications. He has published more than 80 SCI-indexed papers and one monograph. Dr. Wang is an Associate Editor of several international journals, including IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems (IEEE TAES), IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (IEEE TII), Asian Journal of Control, and European Journal of Control.
